Package Highlights

  • Departure: Begin your journey at SDRF Helipad near Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun.
  • Guptkashi to Kedarnath: Fly from SDRF Helipad to Guptkashi, then transfer to a single-engine shuttle for the Guptkashi-Kedarnath sector. Enjoy VIP Darshan at Kedarnath with a VIP Darshan slip (included in the package, valued at ₹2800 per person). The darshan time is limited to 1.5 hours due to unpredictable weather.
  • Lunch: Enjoy lunch at Buransh Heli Resort after returning to Guptkashi.
  • Badrinath: Fly from Guptkashi to Badrinath Helipad, then take a short 2 km car ride to the Badrinath Temple for VIP Darshan.
  • Return: After darshan, head back to the helipad and fly back to SDRF Helipad, Dehradun.

Terms, Conditions and Guidelines

FIXED FLIGHT TIMINGS:

  • This helicopter tour operates with fixed daily departure times for each destination. Passengers are required to adhere to the scheduled Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) for each day of the tour. Failure to do so will result in being marked as a NO-SHOW. The final and accurate flight timings will be shared one day prior to the Yatra

PASSENGER'S WEIGHT

  • Passengers are required to provide their accurate weight at the time of booking. In the event of any weight discrepancy discovered during travel that exceeds our aircraft's weight capacity of 1350 kg, affected passenger(s) will be de-boarded and the Heli-tour will be cancelled for them and without any refund.

OVERWEIGHT CHARGES: PER SEAT BASIS ONLY

  • Excess weight charges for the DO DHAM helicopter tour are fixed at INR 1000/- per kilogram, applicable to passengers whose weight exceeds 75 kg.
  • Moreover, if there is any variance in the passengers' weight, subject to charges based on the overweight criteria, the corresponding amount will be collected at the helipad before the flight boarding.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

  • Only 2 kg of baggage per passenger is permitted. Passengers are advised not to carry large suitcases, as the baggage space inside the helicopter is very limited.

Other Terms and Guidelines for DO Dham Helicopter Booking 2026

  • AADHAR Card Copies: All Indian passengers must share a copy of their Aadhar Card, and foreign nationals must provide a passport.
  • Additional Costs: Any donations, tips, Pitthu, Palki/Pony, and porter charges shall be borne by the passengers.
  • Guidance and Assistance: SBTM has its own crew at all the Dham’s. Passengers are free to reach out to them for any guidance or assistance.
  • Network Connectivity: Network connectivity at Badrinath is very poor. BSNL & Jio are the main telecom services that work in these regions, but not always. Our staff will be with passengers for assistance at all times.
  • Oxygen Bottle: Passengers are advised to carry a small oxygen bottle as a precaution. It is available locally at all medical shops.
  • Clothing: Although day temperatures at these locations are normal, it gets cold at night. Passengers must carry woolen clothes.
  • Medication: All passengers are advised to carry their own medication.
  • Insurance Coverage: SBTM does not provide insurance coverage for accidents, sickness, loss due to theft, or any unforeseen circumstances. We strongly recommend that pilgrims make their own arrangements for insurance coverage. Please note that all baggage and personal belongings are solely the responsibility of the client at all times.

    DO DHAM SAME DAY RETURN ITINERARY by Helicopter

    Passengers are supposed to reach SDRF Helipad near Jolly Grant Airport Dehradun, which is the starting and ending point of this Yatra. Our pilots and ground staff will brief the passengers about the entire trip and do's and don'ts.

    • Upon arrival at Kedarnath, you will be received by our ground personnel, who will escort you to the Holy Shrine. We provide a VIP Darshan slip at the Kedarnath temple, allowing you to bypass the long queues and complete your darshan quickly. The cost of these slips is Rs. 2800 per person, but it is included in our package. Since the weather at Kedarnath can be quite unpredictable, passengers are advised to complete their darshan and puja within 1.5 hours and return promptly to the helipad.
    Note :
    1. From Guptkashi to Kedarnath Dham, as per government regulations, all passengers will transfer from a twin-engine helicopter to a single-engine shuttle service for the Guptkashi–Kedarnath sector. This arrangement is mandated for safety and will remain the same throughout the trip.
    2. Passengers traveling together in the double-engine helicopter may not be accommodated on the same flight during the Guptkashi–Kedarnath leg due to seating and load balancing requirements.

    • Badrinath Temple is located just 2 km from the helipad. We will provide a car for this short journey. Our ground staff at Badrinath will assist passengers with the darshan. After completing the darshan, passengers are requested to return to the helipad promptly.

    Payment Terms

    • Package Confirmation & Booking: Please deposit 50% of the tour cost to process the booking.
    • Balance Payment: The balance amount is to be paid 15 days before your departure date.
    • Full Payment Requirement: Passengers are only allowed to board or initiate the tour after completing the full and final payment for the tour.

    Cancellation Policy

    • Cancellation Charges: If passengers wish to cancel their booking, the following cancellation charges will apply:
    • 5% administrative charge: Will be deducted on the package cost in case of cancellation due to any reason causing the cancellation of a confirmed booking.
    • Up to 30 days before journey: 30% of the amount will be deducted.
    • Up to 20 days before journey: 50% of the amount will be deducted.
    • Up to 14 days before journey: No refund.
    • No Show: No refund.
    • Credit Note: A credit note will be issued against any sort of cancellation of a confirmed booking.

    Force Majeure And Bad Weather Refunds

    • Adverse Weather Conditions: In the event of adverse weather on any of the scheduled days, every effort will be made to complete the Darshan on the following day.
    • Inability to Visit Due to Weather: If we are completely unable to visit any Dham due to persistent weather conditions, a refund of approximately INR 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand Rupees) per seat will be provided, covering only the flying time cost for each affected Dham.
    • Weather-Related Issues with Flights: If flying from Dehradun is not possible due to weather conditions or any other reason, a 5% service charge along with the cost of utilized services—such as hotel accommodation and transportation—will be applicable.

    Rescheduling of booking

    • Rescheduling of Booking: Rescheduling to a next date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 20% of the cost.
    • Rescheduling Request Timeline: This will be permitted only if applied 15 days before the journey date.
    • Late Rescheduling Request: If the rescheduling request is made with less than 15 days to the journey, the booking will be treated as cancelled, and a fresh booking will be given subject to availability.

    • Booking of Scheduled/Non-Scheduled Flights or Train Tickets: Price on demand. Our team can assist you in booking air/train tickets to Dehradun.
    • Haridwar, Rishikesh, or Mussoorie Day-Trip: INR 8000 for up to 06 passengers. Our team can arrange transportation for day-trips from Dehradun to Mussoorie, Rishikesh, or Haridwar.
    • Hotel/Airport Transfers: We arrange pick-up/drop services for our passengers at Dehradun:
    • Jolly Grant Airport Pick-up & Drop: INR 7,000 (both-way).
    • Hotel to Helipad & Helipad to Hotel Pick-up & Drop (Within Dehradun): INR 3,000 (both-way).
    • Extra Night Stay at Dehradun: Price on demand for an additional night stay at Dehradun. Our team will take care of your hotel bookings, offering the most attractive rates available.
    • Carriage by Air Act, 1972: The carriage is subject to SBTM Services regulations relating to the conditions of non-international carriage (Passenger and Baggage) framed in accordance with The Carriage by Air Act, 1972 and applicable government notifications. The liability of the company for damage sustained in the event of the death, wounding, or bodily injury to a passenger, or any injury to their registered baggage, during carriage by air, will be governed by the provisions of sections 4, 5, 6, and the second schedule of the Carriage by Air Act 1972, with modifications as notified by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation, as amended from time to time.
