The Char Dham Yatra is among India's most celebrated pilgrimage tours, encompassing four major Hindu shrines: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. It is believed that undertaking this yatra invites divine blessings and offers the seeker an opportunity for salvation.
VIP Darshan will be provided as per the guidelines issued by the temple authorities and the State Government. Due to helicopter weight limitations, passengers may be shifted between different helicopters for safe operations, and those travelling together may not always be seated in the same flight. Flight timings are fixed; however, they may be changed or postponed due to weather conditions or force majeure. Passengers must provide their correct body weight and arrival/departure details at the time of booking.
Each passenger is allowed to carry only one bag weighing up to 5 kg. Suitcases or large travel bags are not permitted on the helicopter. For Kedarnath, passengers will be transferred by shuttle helicopter services, and group members may be accommodated on different flights. Passengers are advised to book their Dehradun arrival flights at or before 2:00 PM. Any increase in taxes or levies imposed by the government or temple authorities will be borne by the passengers.
Passengers should wear comfortable clothing and suitable walking or trekking shoes. As all temples are located at high altitudes, it is recommended to carry warm clothes and necessary medications, as temperatures can drop significantly in the evenings and at night. Aviation staff will be available at all Dhams to assist passengers throughout the journey. Airport transfers in Dehradun are included on the arrival and departure days of the tour.

Terms, Conditions and Guidelines
Fixed Flight Timings : This helicopter tour follows fixed daily departure schedules for each destination. Passengers must strictly adhere to the designated Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) each day. Failure to comply will result in the passenger being marked as a NO-SHOW. The final and accurate flight timings will be shared one day prior to the Yatra
Passenger's Weight : Passengers must provide their accurate body weight at the time of booking. If a discrepancy is found during travel that causes the total aircraft weight to exceed the limit of 450 kg, the affected passenger(s) will be de-boarded and their Heli-tour will be cancelled—no refunds will be provided in such cases. -Mandatory weighing will be conducted prior to boarding. If the actual weight exceeds the declared weight at the time of booking, boarding will be denied. Additionally, we reserve the right to reshuffle passengers to ensure optimal weight distribution for safe flying conditions in the hills.
Overweight Charges : Per Seat Basis Only Excess weight charges for the Char Dham helicopter tour are fixed at ₹2,000 per kilogram, applicable to passengers whose body weight exceeds 75 kg. In case of any discrepancy in the declared weight, charges based on the excess weight will apply. The applicable amount will be collected either at the hotel prior to the day of departure or at the helipad before flight boarding.
Baggage Allowance Only 5 Kg baggage per passenger will be permitted. Passengers are advised not to carry big suitcases as there is very small baggage space inside helicopter. Passengers bringing excess baggage might not be allowed to take the same in the chopper by pilot. To address this, our staff provides duffle bags to all passengers during briefing. The total baggage allowance is determined based on the group’s combined body weight. If the total exceeds the permissible limit of 450 kg, excess luggage will be transported by road, and the additional cost will be shared among all passengers in that helicopter.
Bad Weather Disclaimer Helicopter operations in hilly terrain are highly susceptible to unpredictable factors such as adverse weather conditions and various Force Majeure events. These may include delayed Air Traffic Control clearances or permissions, VVIP movements, valley flying restrictions issued by the Indian Air Force (NOTAM), unexpected technical issues in the aircraft, illness of the flying crew, and late reporting of passengers at helipads, among other unforeseen circumstances. Passengers are advised to remain prepared for potential delays and inconveniences caused by these uncontrollable factors. We strongly recommend that guests plan for an additional buffer day in Dehradun beyond the standard 05N/06D tour duration. This precautionary measure ensures flexibility in case of severe weather conditions or other disruptions that may lead to a tour extension.

Tour Package Itinerary
- The tour begins with a pick-up from Dehradun Airport or Railway Station one day prior to the scheduled Char Dham Yatra departure, followed by a transfer to the hotel. In the evening, our team will conduct a detailed briefing on the entire Char Dham Yatra at 20:30 hrs.
- Each guest will be provided with a duffle bag during the briefing, in which essential luggage must be packed. Please note that a maximum of 5 kg per person is permitted.
- Enjoy an overnight stay in Dehradun, complete with a hearty dinner
- Note: As part of tour preparations, our staff will record each pilgrim’s body weight during the briefing session. Kindly ensure your presence.
- 7:00/10:00 AM- Departure Sahastradhara Helipad, Dehradun Arrival Kharsali Helipad, Yamunotri
- The auspicious Char Dham Yatra begins from the Sahastradhara Helipad in Dehradun. Guests will check out from the hotel at the designated time, after which our representative will escort them to the helipad.
- Upon arrival, our ground personnel will warmly welcome the guests and assist them in settling into the waiting lounge. Pre-flight instructions will be provided before boarding the helicopter.
- Upon arrival at Kharsali, guests will be received by our ground staff and transferred to Yamunotri Temple by palki or pony. The trek from the helipad to the temple is approximately 6 kilometres, and a round trip by palki typically takes around 5 hours. After darshan, guests will return to the helipad and proceed to their accommodation. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay at Kharsali.
- Note: A toll tax of ₹600 per pilgrim is levied by the Gram Panchayat and must be paid directly by guests. This is a tentative schedule provided to give an overview of the Yatra timings. Please note that these timings are provisional and subject to change based on weather condition and weight adjustment. The final and appropriate timings will be communicated 1 day prior to the event date to ensure smooth coordination.
- Departure Kharsali helipad, Yamunotri Arrival Harsil Helipad
- After checking out from the hotel at the designated time, guests will board the helicopter from Kharsali Helipad and arrive at Harsil Helipad, Gangotri, within the estimated flight duration.
- Nestled in one of Uttarakhand’s most breathtaking valleys, Harsil is often referred to as Mini Switzerland due to its stunning natural beauty. From Harsil Helipad, Gangotri Temple is approximately 22 kilometres away, with a scenic drive taking around 50 minutes by car.
- It is recommended that guests proceed directly to the temple upon landing. Our ground staff will assist with darshan at Gangotri Temple, ensuring a smooth and spiritually enriching experience.
- After returning from the temple, guests can enjoy lunch at the resort, followed by some well-earned relaxation. In the evening, unwind by the campfire or take a leisurely walk to the nearby village, where you can shop for authentic woollen items such as sweaters, shawls, and mufflers— handcrafted by local tribal women.
- This part of the journey offers not just spiritual depth but also cultural charm, making it a cherished highlight of the Char Dham Yatra.
- Departure Harsil Helipad Arrival Kedarnath Helipad
- Guests are advised to check out from their hotel at the designated time, after which they will proceed to Harsil Helipad. From Harsil, guests will fly onward to Guptkashi/ Phata, continuing their Char Dham journey. .
- At Guptkashi/Phata, guests will board a helicopter shuttle to Kedarnath Dham. The helicopter will land at Kedarnath Helipad, located approximately 500 meters from the temple. Our ground staff will assist with VIP darshan arrangements, ensuring a smooth and spiritually fulfilling experience.
- Darshan at Kedarnath typically takes around 2 hours, while the shuttle flight duration is approximately 10 minutes each way.
- After darshan, guests will return to Guptkashi/Phata by helicopter and will be transferred by road to their hotel. The overnight stay will be arranged either at Guptkashi or Kedarnath, depending on the itinerary and weather conditions.
- Note: Night halt at Kedarnath will be arranged on a triple or quad sharing basis and is payable directly by the guests. Please be advised that the accommodation quality available at Kedarnath Dham is modestly above average. While it is clean and functional, guests are encouraged to maintain realistic expectations regarding comfort and amenities due to the remote location
- Departure Kedarnath / Guptkashi/ Phata Helipad Arrival Badrinath Helipad
- After breakfast, guests will check out from their hotel in Guptkashi and proceed to the Guptkashi/Phata helipad. From there, they will board a helicopter bound for Badrinath Dham.
- Upon arrival at Badrinath Helipad, passengers can check in to their hotel, conveniently located near the temple. Our ground staff will assist with darshan at the sacred Badrinath Temple, ensuring a smooth and spiritually fulfilling visit.
- In the evening, a visit to the nearby Mana Village is highly recommended. Known as the first Indian village after the international border with China, Mana offers a rare glimpse into local Himalayan culture, mythology, and scenic beauty.
- Departure Kedarnath / Guptkashi/ Phata Helipad Arrival Badrinath Helipad
- After the puja, guests will return to their hotel for breakfast, followed by a helicopter flight to Dehradun.
- Upon arrival at the Dehradun Helipad, transfers will be arranged to the airport or railway station.
- Your Char Dham Helicopter Tour concludes here, leaving you with spiritual fulfilment and cherished memories for a lifetime.

- Hotels provided are the best available properties at each location, with premium/luxury hotels in Dehradun.
- Accommodation at Yamunotri and Kedarnath is modest yet clean, safe, and well-maintained due to high-altitude locations.
- Hotels at Harsil, Guptkashi, and Badrinath are generally of 3-star standard, offering better comfort and amenities.
- Rooms are provided on double or triple sharing basis unless single occupancy is opted at an additional cost.
- All rooms include attached washrooms with hot water and basic modern amenities.
- Check-in and check-out are strictly as per hotel policy.
- Single occupancy and hotel upgrades in Dehradun are available on request at an additional cost.
- Early booking is strongly recommended during the peak Chardham Yatra season from May to October.

In contrast, accommodations at Harsil, Guptkashi, and Badrinath are of 3-star standard, offering a more comfortable stay.

- Maha Abhishek Puja at Badrinath Ji: INR 4,700 per person. Amount payable in cash at Dehradun to SBTM representative for advance Puja booking.
- Note: Maha Abhishek Puja (morning) and Sandhya Aarti (evening) are not included in the package. Puja donations are paid directly to Badrinath Ji Mandir Samiti. Vehicle charges for attending rituals are extra (approx. ₹1,000 per vehicle).
- Rudra Abhishek Puja at Kedarnath Ji: INR 6,500 for up to 5 people. Cash payment required at Dehradun for advance arrangement.
- Important: Rudra Abhishek Puja requires overnight stay at Kedarnath Top. Hotel stay is subject to availability and charged extra.
- Disclaimer: Accommodation at Kedarnath Top is budget category. Weather can be extremely cold, especially during September–October.
- Flight & Train Ticket Booking: Assistance available for scheduled or non-scheduled flights and train tickets to Dehradun (price on request).
- Haridwar / Rishikesh / Mussoorie Day Trip: INR 8,000 per vehicle (up to 6 passengers) from Dehradun on arrival or departure day.
- Extra Night Stay in Dehradun: Additional hotel nights can be arranged on request at best available rates.

Payment Terms & Booking Policy
- Package Confirmation & Booking, please deposit the 50 % amount of the Tour cost to process.
- The booking and the balance amount is to be paid 15 days before from your departure dates..
- Passengers are only allowed to board or initiate the tour after completing the full and final payment for the tour.
Cancellations Policy
- If passenger cancel their booking, following cancellations charge will be applicable. :-.
- Administrative Fee: Upon confirmation of the booking, if the guest subsequently chooses to cancel, a deduction of 5% on the total package cost will be applicable, irrespective of the reason for cancellation. Cancellation Charges Based on Notice Period:
- Up to 30 days prior to departure: 30% of the package amount
- Up to 20 days prior to departure: 50% of the package amount
- Within 14 days of departure: No refund will be provided
- No Show: No refund will be provided
- Credit Note: A credit note will be issued for any cancellation of a confirmed booking, subject to the above terms.
Force majeure & bad weather refund policy
- In the event of adverse weather on any of the scheduled five days, we will make every effort to complete the Darshan on the following day. However, if we are completely unable to visit any Dham due to persistent weather conditions, a refund of approximately INR 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand Rupees) per seat will be provided, covering only the flying time cost for each affected Dham. If flying from Dehradun is not possible due to weather conditions or any other reason, a 5% service charge along with the cost of utilized services—such as hotel accommodation and transportation—will be applicable.
Rescheduling of booking
- Rescheduling of booking to a next date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 20% of the cost. This will be permitted only if applied 15 days before journey date. In case the rescheduling is requested with less than 15 days to the journey then booking will be treated as cancelled and a fresh booking will be given subject to availability.
